LUXURY HOTEL BRAND (GCC)

Defining a landmark hotel through deep cultural insight

The Situation

We were commissioned to develop a new luxury hotel brand in Oman, a country rich in heritage yet relatively undiscovered compared to its flashier neighbours. The brief from our client, Omran was to create a brand that embodied and showcased the essence of this beautiful nation - an antithesis to the boldness of Dubai, to attract an emerging set of modern high-net-worth travellers.

The Context

This was more than a hotel—it was intended to be a landmark representing the essence of Oman. We needed to understand not only the global affluent consumer but also the country’s unique character—from its biodiversity and sustainability credentials to its cultural richness and mindset.

What We Did

Over six months, we immersed ourselves in Oman—conducting both quantitative and qualitative research. We traveled extensively, mapped the market and consumer mindset across the GCC, and uncovered the deep-seated opportunities.

We learned that HNW consumers are taking fewer, higher-value trips, prioritising personalised, meaningful and culturally immersive experiences over traditional luxury. Decision-making is driven by trust, exclusivity and authenticity rather than mass visibility

This insight allowed us to shape a brand proposition that captured the richness of Oman and spoke to a refined global audience.

The Outcome

We developed a fully rounded concept for our client; not only articulating luxury in 2026 but defining modern Oman on the world stage. Whilst the project remains under wraps for now, the foundational work has informed all conversations since and changed the conversation internally.

Brand Reveller brought exceptional depth of thinking to our hotel project. Their research, strategic insight and creative vision helped us define a new expression of luxury rooted in Oman’s culture while meeting the expectations of a modern international audience.
They combine intellectual rigour with imagination, which made them a key partner for this critical project and defining the future of luxury hospitality in the region.
