Hotel Stays: The Lana, Dubai

Opened in 2024 on Marasi Bay Marina, The Lana is built for a different pace. It trades in elegance, not excess. Less “look at me,” more IYKYK. The design carries that unmistakable Dorchester softness, pale pinks, soft whites, and a deep claret thread that runs from the bellmen’s top hats to the afternoon tea. The rooms take things down another notch: rose quartz, velvet, marble, skyline views, and yes, Buckingham Palace mattresses.

The Dior Spa is here too (and fully booked, naturally), along with a rooftop pool facing the skyline. But what stood out most was The Lana’s restraint. A hotel confident enough to whisper and still hold the room.
